Making Money Online
Hi folks, welcome to the site.
NewbieMarketerOnline was my very first website. I started this journey over two years ago and I have to say it was one of the best “decisions” I ever made. This “journey” I’m referring to is Internet Marketing.
How It All Started
I’ve been interested in computers and technology for as long as I can remember, as well as forever dabbling and opting in various money making adventures over the years, so it’s not an unlikely story finding myself here.
Online Marketing was of interest to me because it offered me two things I’ve always been passionate about, computers and extra income. 
I started working with computers about 18 years ago, first as a re-builder/re-seller and later as a computer tech for a government contractor after I retired from the city…. (yes I’m retired and now a full time internet marketer). I still go out on service calls for computer repair in Albuquerque.
I was right in the middle of the DotCom revolution when online marketing was really, really ‘easy’ but I missed out. You can still make money online these days; you just have to follow concrete criteria so Google will love you.
I remember joining an online group known as “Warriors” back in the day. I did online marketing for a few of weeks and dropped out after I didn’t make a thousand dollars when I wanted it. Back then it was simply a matter of posting a link in a few forums with your affiliate I.D. attached.
Weeks later, after dropping out, I started getting a check for $30 about every three months but I was too “busy” doing other stuff and didn’t even realize what I had! Or rather, what I let go.
I received that same $30 check for about a year and a half before it suddenly stopped coming. Warriors Forum, by the way, is HUGE these days in the Internet Marketing community. No doubt the owner is a millionaire. Me?,,,, I was a big dummy! What was I thinking? I wasn’t.
Fast forward to present day. I’ve come full circle. By some strange sequence of events I found my way back to this wonderful business. Apparently I wasn’t “ready” back then. What a difference years can make.
The Lesson
What I’ve learned is this; it doesn’t matter what you’ve done or tried in the past. All that matters is… what are you going to do right now?
When I decided to “learn” about making money online via online marketing that was the end, or beginning, of my story. I don’t dwell on the past these days. Instead, I look to the future because it’s bright. I’m having fun doing something I’m passionate about and it’s paying off.
If you’ve found your way here it’s most likely because you’re interested in learning how to make money online with Internet Marketing. So I’m here to tell you that it’s absolutely possible.
What Worked For Me
If you look through this site you will see references to some of my other sites and most noticeably my ChrisFarrellIncome site. With the exception of an awesome marketer I met online named Steve Gray, who took me by the hand when I first got started and helped “understand” and apply basic internet marketing principles, Chris Farrells Membership Site was the glue that helped bring it all together for me.
Here’s the bottom line straight and simple. If you need a paycheck in the next two weeks this isn’t for you. But if you’re serious and willing to “commit” yourself for a couple of months and “learn” a few new skills you can be making a nice passive income online.
