Internet Marketing…
Tell that to people and much of the time you will get a blank stare, a pause, and then another question. Most people understand that it has something to do with the internet but don’t necessarily know exactly what I’m talking about.

And that’s understandable because the perception of Internet Marketing varies from person to person.

Affiliate Marketing
A more appropriate response from me should have been: I’m an Affiliate Marketer, I build small (mini) niche web sites and sell other peoples products or services online. That’s pretty much it in a nutshell.

Some of my sites are best way to get abs, roland td9 review and parrot training. These are small websites designed to simply “answer” a question and provide a “solution.” That’s all you want do. Build a few, get them indexed and ranked in Google and each will bring a small amount of steady revenue.

The term “Internet Marketing” is simply one method of “Marketing” a product or service; it’s just a medium. For instance, postal mail is a popular form of marketing which has been around for decades. Other marketing mediums are the obvious ones such as, TV, magazines,etc.

Internet Marketing is relatively new to the scene in comparison but it’s reach is awesome and very powerful. But the goal is the same no matter what method is employed: Find a problem and offer a solution. Advertisers have been doing it for years and with the advent of the internet it’s become common place as marketers do the same.

This is what I do through Affiliate Marketing online.

Marketing Models

So lets break this down even further because there are actually different “Models” of marketing online.

Some include:
Freelancing – ie. You’re a web graphics designer and make web banners for clients. You do the job,you get paid.
Auctions – ie. eBay,, Simply huge right?
Info Marketing – ie. Marketing digital products
Ecommerce – ie. Amazon or Shopping Cart Model
Affiliate – ie. Promoting others products or services. Promote the product, get a commission.

Many Internet Marketers make a full time income elusively simply by being an affiliate and marketing other peoples stuff. This is an excellent way to get started and it’s my method of choice as I continue development of my own product.

Developing your own products and services should be your ultimate goal of course. And by starting out as an affiliate you will gain experience and develop your marketing skills. So when it comes time to launch YOUR OWN product or service you will know exactly what to do.

In the mean time you can sell other peoples products. Here’s an example of how you can earn a passive income by doing a Youtube video. I did a video on how to use WordPress and put it on Youtube. As the video gained recognition I attached a product to it.

You can see how I did it here. As you can see, in the description under the video there’s a link, I easily attached a product which helps people and I get paid for doing it. Again, I’m an affiliate for the product creator.

Because of the response I got from this particular tutorial, I’m in the process of creating my “own” video series on WordPress which I will market and get “all” the proceeds. :-)

There are many other advantages and benefits to starting out as an affiliate marketer. I will discuss this in another article where I go into great detail as I examine “Affiliate Marketing Explained”.

Local Web Design

I’ve also branched out and started doing web design for local businesses in my area. This happened as a result of being in the business building sites for myself. So now I’m doing it for profit. You can see some of my work on one of my personal web design sites here.

Well that’s it for now guys. This is the short and sweet of Internet Marketing and I hope this answers some of those nagging questions.

How To Make Money Online

The Truth About Internet Marketing

Ok, so what is the truth about making money online through Internet Marketing? Is it possible to earn a passive, or even full time, income online?

The short answer to this is yes, of course you can. Making money on the internet is absolutely within reach of ANYONE who is willing to do several things. But before I address that lets first start by defining Internet Marketing.

 

Internet Marketing is simply the process of providing goods and services to others via the internet. There are many forms of E-Commerce and I.M. is simply one of them. As a “marketer” of online products your goal is to find a need and provide the solution for that need. There are many ways to do this which I explain within other articles. But for now understand this:

You absolutely can make money online by building a simple website and learning how to drive traffic to your web pages. There are many people doing it so why can’t you? The truth is that you can do it.

Do what? Most people don’t even know where to start or what to do. That’s why Affiliate programs are probably the best place for newbies to start. Affiliate programs are ready-made products and services developed by someone else which you can access and promote. You are basically an affiliate who sells other peoples stuff and get paid for it.

You simply have to find a program that fits you. Pick something that you believe in and something that’s going to get you motivated and keep you excited enough to take action and get started.

Understand one thing first. There are a lot of ways to get started making money online and I have chosen these four to share with you because they are great choices for the beginner with built in MODELS that you can follow which almost guarantees your success.

Notice I didn’t say absolute guarantee because the simple truth is that no one can guarantee your success with Internet Marketing, or anything else in life for that matter. Your success at generating any income online is totally dependent upon you and how much time and effort you put into it.

Chris Farrell Membership

Chris Farrell is just one of many membership sites available to you which will help you get started. His membership fee is pretty low in comparison to similar membership sites online. It’s a relatively small membership site with a home like mom and pop feel. Other memberships sites, such as Wealthy Affiliates, are very large and do have additional resources which may fit your needs better.

There’s nothing wrong with checking them out and doing your research. But if you are serious about The Chris Farrell Membership just join now. Chris offers a free seven day trial for $5.95 and if you decide to continue the membership will be only $37.00 per month as of this writing.

If you are still in the process of researching then here are some other options. The following are just a few ideas you may want to research. From monthly membership sites to individual training courses and affiliate programs.

 One Week Marketing

This is simply a marketing course that you might want to consider if you’re not interested in a monthly membership. One Week Marketing was developed by Jennifer Ledbetter, better known as PotpieGirl. I can’t say enough good things about PotPieGirl, she is simply wonderful. She is a member of Wealthy Affiliate and a major contributor in a big way.

She has put together an excellent program called One Week Marketing which is a great course for anyone who just wants a straight 1,2,3 step plan to follow along and get started. Check her out if you want to learn a no frills way of getting up and running fast with her one week method. You can choose from two separate programs for a one time fee of$47.00 or $77.00

Take Your Pick

There are literally thousands of opportunities and internet marketing programs,courses,membership sites and how-tos for you to choose from. Most are legitimate, some are easier then others and yes, some are scams.

But here’s the thing, and there really is no way around this important fact.

You can do it. You can earn an ongoing income online just like a whole lot of people are doing right now. The fact that you’re here right now sets you apart from a bunch of people. In fact, it sets you apart from most people who don’t think outside of the box. People who are happy with trading hours for dollars working a job.

Now don’t misunderstand this. Most all of us have had a job right? I mean, we all need to put food on the table, that’s not what I mean. The essence of what I’m saying refers to how you’re thinking right now. Most people aren’t like you, meaning most people don’t believe it’s possible to earn and maintain a substantial income by marketing online.

Heck, my wife didn’t believe it until she started seeing checks. So don’t be surprised when even loved ones are doubtful, that’s simply just how most people think. It can be done, it just takes a little work. Which brings me to my next important point.

If you are in a financial bind right now and need a paycheck in the next two weeks then the first thing you need to do is secure a means of immediate income. This is not a get rich quick endeavor and you wont be getting paid in two weeks. Nothing is that easy and I’m sure you really don’t believe that type of hype anyhow.

I say that with a bit of reluctance because obviously I don’t know what particular skills you bring to the table. But for the average person who knows absolutely nothing about internet marketing, I’m talking to you.

It’s a Toss Up

Now, if you flipped a coin and picked any one of the programs listed here you would be well ahead of the game because they are all quality memberships and courses. But here is the caveat.

It doesn’t matter what you choose, you are going to have to put in the time and DO the work to be successful. Period.

All of these methods give you an edge with step by step instruction and even one on one support if you need it. But all of it is worthless if you think someone is going to do it for you.

You have to make a true decision and make it happen. I don’t want to run this into the ground but the fact is that most people get started and fall short just before they see success because of impatience and having the wrong expectations. So don’t let that happen to you. I’m giving you the hard facts.

You most likely ended up here because you are seriously considering a Chris Farrell Membership and want more information, great. I pull no punches when I express how I think Chris’ site is the perfect place for the beginner. But if you’re not ready to invest $27 a month (soon to be increased) then find a program that you’re comfortable with and get started. Or join Chris right now. Either way, do something and get started.

What To Do Now?

1. Decide what you want to do

Making a true decision is the first step. Stop worrying about what other people say and don’t be fearful. Stop looking for proof that this or that will work.Yes it works. If you follow a specific plan of action which all of these programs lay out for you in a step by step fashion. Don’t try to re-invent the wheel.

2. Take action and make it happen

How many times have you heard that before. Take action take action,,, you here it so much that it sounds like a punch line. Why do we say it so much? Well, for those of us who have done it we know the ‘Power’ of it. It’s so simple but yet so true, so simplistic that we miss it. But when you do it and see the results of it you will know what I’m saying. Are you feelin me?

3. Don’t quit.

“Never give up, never surrender” That’s my wife’s favorite line from a popular movie we love to watch over and over again. You have to stay focused and determined. I’m sorry there is no free lunch pal. Making money online is not hard but it is work, consistent work.

Failing is not failure but giving up is. That’s what I tell my daughter and that’s what I believe. So what do you believe? Do you believe you can do it? That really is the most important question isn’t it? Remember what your parents always said…. “You can do anything you put your mind to”

Why Am I Here?

I started this site because I believe in what I’m doing and my hope is that I’m able to pass some useful information along to others in search of what I once was. And yes, of course continue to build my online business as well. You have to find out for yourself and the only way to do that is to take your first baby steps. And when you make your first sale online that will be one of the most exhilarating experiences of your life and you will have proven it to yourself.

The Secret To Success

Success is one part chance and NINE parts effort. Simply put, you are where you are today because of what you did yesterday.

This website, NewbieMarketerOnline, was actually the first website (a simple page) I ever designed.

 

It was basically a squeeze page designed to collect email addresses from which I later would submit offers to.  It wasn’t much but it was a start.

Change Is Good

Much has changed in the last two and a half years and I no longer promote this site. I’m actually in the process of updating it because it does get traffic by default as a result of my other internet marketing activities. This website was once the launch pad for my business and is tied to my other sites and earlier efforts.

My most popular website is  ChrisFarrellIncome.com; as it was my first major project after getting my feet wet with online marketing. I worked many months on it getting it ranked to a decent point and even today it still jumps around. It’s a steady money maker but the point is…. it wouldn’t be if I hadn’t taken action and actually done something.

So again I will say, “You are where you are today because of what you did yesterday”

Success Comes In Small Doses

Believe that you can “do anything you want” and you will do exactly what you want. I wrote blog post on this very subject as I reflected on what my mom used to say. You can read the full post here.

No one simply ends up successful. You have to do something and that means taking action. It won’t happen fast but it will happen. It starts as a trickle and before you know it…….

There’s a lot that can be said here but I’ll defer to what I’d like to refer to as my “epilogue”. This is a short attachment I added to my eBook many months after I first wrote it and it best describes how I view success.

Success isn’t so much about making money as it is “enjoying” what you’ve committed yourself to doing. And, getting satisfaction out of it.

It’s been a little more than a year and half since I started my internet marketing business. When I wrote this ebook I was about four months into it. As I look at it, I smile to myself and reflect on what I was going through at the time.

I had started to make sales and although they weren’t as consistent as I would have liked, I knew there was more to come as I stayed focused and committed.

I ask myself, now, how much of what I shared deep down was really for my own benefit and “call” to consistent action. And how much of it was out of a desire to help people like you who may be struggling. I think both to be true.

You HAVE to build sites, optimize them and just let them go. In fact my top money maker is not a fancy site at all, but, it does provide the “content” and optimization necessary to draw traffic and thus,,, sales.

I’ve expanded over the last four months and I’m now helping local business owners by building well optimized targeted websites. This was a natural progression for me as building sites for myself was required. Now I get to make additional income on a whole other level. Coupled with the “passive income” from targeted product sites makes it all the better.

I’m working my business full time now and I’m having a blast.

If there is one thing I would reiterate now that I have a little “more” experience under my belt; it would be this. Decide, plain and simple. Just make the decision that nothing will stop you. And, second; Get Educated.

It’s no small secret I’m a fan of Chris Farrell , Jennifer Ledbecker (potpiegirl) and Andrew Hansen. These are among some of the most honest and talented online marketers I know.

I got my feet off the ground with Chris Farrell, later learned how to apply my skills building websites for local businesses with Jennifers free P3 course and enjoyed plenty of free stuff from Andrew Hansen too.

There is a ton of free information out there. Get all you can read. Read all you can get. Take action and you’ll see. ‘You can do anything you want.’
